Cléo Totti (BE) - Phantoms & Emotional Ornaments

“In a world made up of objects where everything tries to become commodities-the body, emotions, illnesses, art-I work from the living. I see sculpture and installation as a vehicle for culture and learning, allowing time for contemplation and detailed study of a subject. By taking inspiration from industrial objects and rendering them abstract, I question the rapidity of the world around us and the notion of the vestige, creating artifacts that reveal a form of contemporary archaeology” (...)
