Augustin Gimel (born in 1974) realises videos and installations. His work proposes a reflection on the limits of the visual and acoustic perception using photogram-shot, repetition and combinatory. By the contraction and the stretching of the time, by the convergence of antagonistic representation systems, the editing reveals the inner poetry of first hand captured materials.
