Augustin Gimel (born in 1974) realises videos and installations. His work proposes a reflection on the limits of the visual and acoustic perception using photogram-shot, combinatory and flicking. By the contraction and the stretching of the time, by the convergence of antagonistic representation systems, the editing reveals the inner poetry of first hand captured materials. New entities appears during the blink of an eye.
