I have to incanter, to dance to get the material
to accept the demon I want to inject.
Always the same, always different,
you have to adapt to bend the material
to your will. Once the work done,
if the ritual has gone well,
a new object is born.
What if my screen, already monochrome, exploded?
It would take over the space, it would have taken over the place,
eating up away at all the organic materials
like the fire in an progressing blaze.
Pixels, handmade bombs, sensitive, unique works,
enclose and reveal my desire to evoke
the political choices that are leading the world
towards the end of a cycle.
Above our heads,
these synthetic flames
perform the dance of fire.
The one that digests complexity
and offers its remains to the survivors.
On the floor, a large banquet table
invites you in. Because in our culture,
this is the place for discussion, the moment when,
after a good collective meal, we set the word to rights.
